LARRY BEASLEY - ETHICS FOR BREAKFAST

Ethics & Zoning in Vancouver
... One of the World's Most Livable Cities

with LARRY BEASLEY
Director of Planning, City of Vancouver

Tuesday, APRIL 12, 2005   7:15- 8:30am

It is a delicate balance involving tradeoffs with developers who receive density bonuses for heritage preservation, parks, schools and community services.

— What are the ethics of pursuing civic public policy initiatives through the zoning process?
— Does such a process adequately reflect the political priorities at City Hall?

Please join us for breakfast as Larry opens our discussion by identifying the key planning parameters for which the City is responsible, and explains how Vancouver has become one of the most livable cities in the world.

Seating is limited
Please be sure to RSVP by Monday May 9th so that we can make accurate catering arrangements.

Location: BC Hydro 2nd Floor Auditorium 333 Dunsmuir St. Vancouver
