Muhammad Afzal Mirza - SPIRIT AT WORK
Muhammad Afzal Mirza, Spritituality & Islam Spirituality & Islam
with Muhammad Afzal Mirza
Religious Minister,
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community

Thursday October 20 2005   12:15 - 1:30pm
Location:   Main Floor, Terasen Gas Building (formerly BC Gas) 1111 West Georgia @ Thurlow, Vancouver BC

"Islam renders utmost respect to all the divine religions of the world.  It enjoins upon all Muslims to believe in truthfulness of all the previous divine scripture and prophets, otherwise one cannot be a Muslim."

Muslims feel that Islam provides the fastest, quickest and shortest way to God.  Islam does not however claim a monopoly over other religions.

Spirituality is very complex issue and Islam has provided many simple ways to understand and benefit from it. Just like we are dead with out spirit, similarly without spirituality our society would be lifeless, meaningless and hopeless.

What is spirituality?   How do you define it?
What is the difference between simple goodness and spirituality?   Why and what is the significance of spirituality?
What are some of the benefits?   How do you become spiritual?

Come join us for lunch and hear Muhammad talk on spirituality from the perspective of the Islamic faith.
